TEDx event at IIM Sambalpur: OTV Business Head Litisha Mangat Panda joins panel of distinguished speakers

The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Sambalpur hosted its fifth TEDx event on Saturday and featured a distinguished line-up of eminent personalities and dignitaries, experts in their respective sectors and industries, to offer insights to a hall full of students.

The 2025 edition of the event was themed ‘Anagat: The Unmanifested Future’, and was held on its campus, with talks focusing on navigating life’s uncertainties and the role of resilience in shaping success.

“TEDx, as an event, holds global significance. With this event at IIM Sambalpur, Odisha is now in the global spotlight within the TEDx forum. People across the world will learn about the education potential of the state and come from far and wide to study here,” said Founding Director of IIM Sambalpur Mahadeo Jaiswal.

Who joined the 2025 TEDx at IIM Sambalpur?

The event panel Odisha Television (OTV) Business Head Litisha Mangat Panda among a diverse lineup of speakers and notable figures such as Swastimati Maharaj Kunwarani Sahiba Nivritti Kumari Mewar of Udaipur, ACP of Commissionerate Police Anjana Tudu, and model and digital content creator Ella D' Verma.

Young entrepreneur Mohini Sharma, psychologist and professor Dr Itisha Nagar, Fit India Ambassador Captain Dharmveer Singh; Padma Lakshmi, Kerala’s first transgender lawyer; Rohit Srivastava, founder of FoodFindo, and Ankur Pandit, a young researcher, were part of the event among others.

Event Highlights:

The event opened with a welcome address by IIM Sambalpur Director Professor Mahadeo Jaiswal, followed by three sessions where speakers shared personal journeys of overcoming challenges and embracing failure as well as leveraging setbacks as stepping stones.
