Self-Styled Godman Kaifi Khan’s Aide Arrested in Cuttack

Intensifying its probe into the crime syndicate of self-styled Godman Kaifi Khan, who was earlier arrested on duping charges, the Mangalabag police has arrested one of the associates of the conman in connection with the case.

The accused, identified as Israel, used to work as middleman for Khan for the financial transactions in the cheating cases.

Meanwhile, the Mangalabag police has taken Khan on a four-day remand for further questioning in connection with the case.

Kaifi Khan was recently arrested by Mangalabag Police for allegedly duping a Ranihat-based woman, Sharmila Sen to the tune of Rs 62 lakh.

Moreover, Kaifi Khan’s alleged links with gangster Shakil Ahmad have also come to the fore. It is said that Kaifi is a relative of the gangster. This has raised several questions about whether the gangster was also involved in Kaifi’s crime network.
