School and Mass Education Minister Nityananda Gond
Reflecting on the finalization of the new uniform designed for the secondary school students in government and aided schools under the Mukhyamantri Chhatra Chhatri Paridhan Yojana in Odisha, School and Mass Education Minister Nityananda Gond on Wednesday informed that there was a need for the change and hence it will be changed.
According to Gond, the previous government had changed the colour of the uniform and school buildings with political motives. However, the newly formed government is working without any political motive.
The Minister further informed that there would be no more teacher shortages in any school in the coming days and as many as 16,010 teachers will be appointed on October 5. As per the minister, a target has been set to bring back dropout students to the school again.
“The previous government had changed the colour of the uniform and the school buildings with a political motive. However, the Mohan Majhi government is working without any political motive. There was a need to change the colour of the uniform and school buildings and hence it will be changed,” said Gond.
“As many as 16,010 teachers will be appointed on October 5. There will be no more cases of single teacher in any school. There will be a minimum of two teachers in every school,” the Minister added.
