Odisha Revenue Minister Suresh Pujari
Officials of the Revenue Department have been ordered to submit a detailed report regarding alleged large-scale irregularities in RI and Amin examinations conducted by the Odisha Sub-ordinate Staff Selection Commission (OSSSC), informed Revenue Minister Suresh Pujari on Saturday.
According to the Minister, he has also discussed about the matter with Chief Minister Mohan Majhi.
“We have received many complaints in this regard. I have also spoken to the Chief Minister about the matter today. I have ordered the officials of the Revenue Department to make a compilation of all the allegations. After receiving the report, the government will take necessary actions,” said Minister Pujari.
Earlier today, hundreds of aspirants under the banner of Students Against Corruption demanded the cancellation of RI, ICDS supervisors, ARI, Amin and SFS examinations.
The aspirants also demanded that the examinations should be conducted in offline mode and stern actions should be taken against the authorities involved in the irregularities.
The members of Students Against Corruption even issued a warning to the Odisha government and threatened an agitation if their demands were not fulfilled by September 6.
Moreover, the aspirants also sought the intervention of the Union Education Minister over the alleged irregularities in the conduct of the examinations.
However, no reactions were received from OSSSC officials in this regard.
