Cancel OSSSC RI and ICDS exam; aspirants threaten stir, demand conduct of exam in offline mode

The members of Students Against Corruption issued warning to the Odisha  government and threatened for an agitation if their demands are not fulfilled by September 6.

Hundreds of aspirants under the banner of Students Against Corruption on Saturday demanded cancellation of RI, ICDS supervisors, ARI, Amin and SFS examinations conducted by the Odisha Sub-ordinate Staff Selection Commission (OSSSC) alleging large-scale irregularities. 

The aspirants also demanded that the examinations should be conducted in offline mode and stern actions should be taken against the authorities involved in the irregularities.

The members of Students Against Corruption issued warning to the Odisha  government and threatened for an agitation if their demands are not fulfilled by September 6. 

“Thousands of aspirants from various districts will join a protest at Lower PMG in Bhubaneswar and the government will be fully responsible for any kind of incident arising out of the situation, “warned an aspirant.

Moreover, the aspirants also sought the intervention of Union Education Minister over the alleged irregularities in the conduct of the examinations. 

“The students of the State expressed their grievances before the government with a lot of patience. However, the government doesn’t want to uproot corruption. The government also doesn’t want to stop selling of jobs in OSSSC. If the government doesn’t take any decision regarding demands by September 6, thousands of students across the Odisha will stage protest in Bhubaneswar,” said Bibhuti Bhusan Mohapatra, member of Students Against Corruption.

However, no reactions could be obtained from OSSSC officials in this regard.
