In a written complaint, the students of Government Women’s College, Baripada accused their lecturer of sexual harassment and illicit behaviour. They have accused him of making lewd remarks and gestures at the girls.
The matter came to the fore after the 30 female students submitted a written complaint to the college principal. The principal has forwarded the complaint to the college’s internal complaint committee and sexual harassment cell.
Necessary action will be taken against the lecturer after a thorough investigation, the college principal Sagarika Singh said.
