Massive fire destroys electric vehicle showroom in Ganjam
A major fire broke out at an electric vehicle showroom near Reddy Garage Square in Berhampur on Friday, causing significant damage to the two-storey building and the vehicles housed within.
The blaze, which is suspected to have been caused by an electrical short circuit, erupted suddenly, engulfing the premises in flames. Many vehicles, including both two-wheelers and four-wheelers, have been severely damaged in the mishap.
Firefighters were promptly dispatched to the scene to extinguish the fire and ensure the safety of the area. The quick response by the fire brigade helped in containing the blaze and preventing further damage.
As per the latest report, the effort is still underway to extinguish the fire fully. It is getting difficult to douse the fire completely due to the heavy smoke emanating from the building.

Investigations are ongoing to ascertain the exact cause of the fire. Local authorities have urged nearby businesses to review their fire safety measures to prevent similar incidents.
Fortunately, no casualties have been reported in this incident.
