‘Married to four’, RPF personnel lands in trouble while marrying again in Odisha

Ajay Kumar Sahu, an RPF employee in Odisha, faces allegations from his third wife of being married to four women and planning a fifth marriage. Despite her FIR, no action has been taken. Allegedly, he has taken around Rs 4.67 lakh along with jewellery from the complainant woman.

A Railway Protection Force (RPF) employee faced serious allegations from his third wife, who claims he has been married to four women and is considering a fifth in Rourkela in Sundargarh district, on Tuesday.

The third woman had previously reported the matter in December last year. Despite her FIR lodged with local police, no decisive action appears to have been taken. Senior officials from the RPF confirm that an investigation is still underway to ascertain allegations.

Ajay Kumar Sahu, the RPF staff in question, has not responded to these accusations.

Whom the RPF personnel has married?

“He (Ajay) has married four women. His first wife has two children, including a son (18) and a daughter (10). His second wife is from Bonai locality and she works in the Forest Department. She has a daughter (7). The third wife is a nurse who had been staying with him for 2-3 months. She was beaten and driven away after she conceived,” the woman said.

“Thereafter, he lured me and brought me home. Now, he is trying to drive me away. He has taken around Rs 4.67 lakh from me along with my jewellery. Where shall I go now? The RPF authorities are not taking any steps in this regard,” the complainant stated.

Earlier in another incident, a man was arrested on February 4 following the accusations of defrauding multiple women through a matrimonial website, sparking considerable uproar in Bhubaneswar.

The suspect, identified as Deeptiraj Pattnaik, was alleged to have duped several women by presenting himself as an eligible bachelor and promising marriage under false pretences.

The accused man, posing as the son of a reputed engineering college founder and a wealthy landowner, had lured numerous women on the platform, claiming to be unmarried. He defrauded women of lakhs of rupees through deceitful promises.
