In a shocking incident, a man filed a police complaint that his 36-year-old wife eloped with a beggar abandoning him and their 6 children in the Hardoi district of Uttar Pradesh. The report spread like wildfire and triggered discussions on social media. However, according to a recent report, the woman claims that she left home to escape repeated abuse and physical torture by her husband. Moreover, the police have also confirmed that the allegations of eloping are false.

According to media reports, the 45-year-old man, identified as Raju, in his complaint stated that he lives in the Harpalpur area of Hardoi with his wife Rajeshwari and children. He further stated that Nanhe Pandit, a 45-year-old beggar, at times begged in the neighbourhood and would often chat with his wife. Raju also claimed that his wife and the beggar also started speaking over the phone.

Furthermore, he stated that on January 3 at 2 pm, his wife told their daughter that she was going to the market to buy clothes and vegetables. As per Raju's complaint, his wife left with the money he made by selling a buffalo. However, she didn't return and despite looking out for her everywhere, he didn't find her. Thus, he suspects that Rajeshwari eloped with Nanhe Pandit.

Based on his complaint, the Police registered the FIR under Section 87 of Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS), which is related to the abduction of a woman. Later, police also launched a search operation to trace Nanhe Pandit.
