Lady superstar Anushka Shetty’s movie shooting underway in Odisha

After the stupendous success of stylish star Allu Arjun’s ‘Pushpa’ and ‘Arya’, filmmakers from Telugu film industry are flocking to Odisha to shoot more movies. Now, Telugu lady superstar Anushka Shetty’s upcoming movie ‘Ghaati’ is being shot in Lamtaput area and movie lovers are super excited.
The movie is being shot at Lamtaput, Machakund and Anakadeli Town of Odisha’s Koraput district.
“I explored and I found this beautiful place. This is called Duduma Waterfalls and it is in a place called Odisha. Everybody talks about Kerala, Goa, Tamil Nadu or Himachal Pradesh; please come to Odisha, they have amazing places. Here you can explore a lot, feel free and enjoy yourself with a little cash,” said popular south Indian actor-director, John Vijay.
“All the youngsters need to be here. This is very close to Arch Valley, one of the most beautiful places in Odisha. I’m glad to be talking about this amazing place. This is also my first experience here in Odisha. There are so many amazing things here. From the food, people, dams, ambience and great waterfalls you can explore a lot here,” he added.

“We have seen several Odia movies like Bhaunri, Swayamsidha and others being shot here. But, this is the first time a Telugu movie of Anushka Shetty, the lady superstar of Tollywood, is being shot here. We are super excited that such a big scale movie is being shot in our area. Hopefully, this will pave the path for more movie shoots and subsequently bring development to our area,” said a local Amar Panigrahy.
“This is also a message to the government that many more movies can be shot in our picturesque location if our area is being developed,” he added.
Worth mentioning, Anushka Shetty’s highly anticipated film ‘Ghaati’ directed by Krish is nearing completion and is already 90% complete with the final schedule taking place in Odisha. The film is an action-revenge drama and will feature Anushka in a never-before-seen role with a mafia touch.
