The businessman was followed

“After reaching the apartment, I got down from my vehicle and was approaching towards my house on the first floor. A miscreant came behind me. When I saw him, I stopped. Immediately, he beat me severely and snatched a bag containing cash of around Rs 5 lakh. He decamped with the cash-bag on a motorcycle,” the victim said to OTV.

“Two unidentified youths are involved in the armed crime. One had followed me and the other one was waiting in the basement of the apartment,” the businessman stated.

“Some accused had also previously followed the man a month ago. Since he has a business establishment in the Malgodown locality, they suspected him to be carrying huge cash. Perhaps, the criminals got the opportunity today and looted him,” a resident expressed.
