With the clock ticking, all eyes are now on the Crime Branch investigating the sensational case of the murder of Odisha Health Minister Naba Das.

A senior official on Monday informed that the prime accused and dismissed Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) Gopal Das has revealed all details, including the reason behind killing the minister.

The accused Gopal Das, who underwent a Narco test in Gujarat on Saturday, has revealed everything about how and why he decided to kill Naba Das by firing at him in full public view on January 29.

The minister, who sustained serious injuries in the attack, was first rushed to Jharsuguda District Headquarters Hospital and then airlifted to a private hospital in Bhubaneswar where he succumbed to his injuries.

The senior Crime Branch official further informed that accused Gopal Das was subjected to the Narco test at the Directorate of Forensic Science Lab (DFSL) in Gandhinagar. Earlier, he underwent a polygraph test on Friday too.

During the Narco test, the accused also confessed to his mental state during committing the crime. The Narco test report is likely to be received by the Crime Branch this week, the official added.
