The Odisha Staff Selection Commission (OSSC) on Wednesday announced the result of the main written examination of the Combined Police Service Examination (CPSE)-2017.

A total of 547 candidates have cleared the main examination and shortlisted for viva-voce-cum-psychological test. The test is scheduled to be held from September 23, 2021 onwards.

The successful candidates of CPSE-2017 can check the merit list on the official website of OSSC-www.ossc.gov.in.

As per the notification of the commission, the candidates have been shortlisted on the basis of their performance in the main written examination held on July 19 and 20, 2021 and assessment of weightage mark.

“The detailed schedule of the viva-voce test will be intimated to the candidates later through the website of the Commission,” the OSSC said in a notification.

“The candidates qualified for appearing the viva-voce-cum-psychological test should bring the original certificates/documents relating to proof of date of birth/educational qualification/caste/special category, claim of weightage mark from NCC/Sports achievement along with a set of self-attested Xerox copies of the same along with OSSC copy of the Online Application Form for verification on the date of Viva-Voce Test,” the notification added.

Notably, the OSSC through CPSE-2017 will fill up 184 posts of sub-inspector of police, 20 posts of SI of police (armed), 10 posts of station officer (fire service) & 4 posts of assistant jailor on contractual basis under Home Department of Odisha.
