The Odisha Staff Selection Commission (OSSC) has announced vacancies to the posts of Small Savings & Financial Inclusion Officer under Odisha finance department.

Applications have been invited from intending candidates to fill up 15 posts on contractual basis.  

The application process for the recruitment drive will start on September 3, 2021 through the official website of the commission www.ossc.gov.in. The last date of submission of online application is October 8, 2021. 

No physical copy/hard copy of the online application form need to be sent by the applicants. 

How To Apply: 

Applicants have to apply online using the official website of the Commission www.ossc.gov.in. All eligible candidates have to register themselves by clicking on "APPLY ONLINE" button on the Home page of the Commission's website www.ossc.gov.in, and fill up the Application Form. 

Remuneration & Condition of Service:

The appointment to these posts will be initially on contractual basis carrying a remuneration of Rs 16880 per month (for first 1 year) as per Odisha Group-B Posts (Contractual Appointment) Amendment Rules, 2017 and Condition of Service will be guided by the Government of Odisha Group-B Posts (Contractual Appointment) Rules, 2013. 

Educational Qualification: 

A candidate must have held a Bachelor's Degree in any discipline from any recognised university as on the last date of submission of Online Application Form and with Proficiency in use of Computer, Internet, e-mail, word processing, data analysis and presentation. 
 
Age Limit: 

The minimum age for the post is 21 years and the maximum age is 32 years as on 01.01.2020. The upper age limit is relaxable by 5 years for candidates belonging to SEBC, SC, ST & all Women candidates, 10 years for candidates belonging to PwD category & the total period of service rendered in defence service in case of Ex-servicemen.

Examination Fee:  

Applicants will have to pay a non-refundable examination fee of Rs 200 while the fee is exempted for candidates belonging to SC/ST/PwD category. Applications without payment of examination fees (except SC/ST/PwD candidates) will be taken as incomplete and shall be liable for rejection.

Selection Procedure:  

Aspirants will have to appear for two stages of examination- Tier-I Computer based recruitment examination of 100 marks (General Awareness/Objective type/MCQ type) and Tier-II- Viva Voce Test of 10 marks.
