The Odisha Staff Selection Commission (OSSC) has announced the date of main written examination for the post of Staff Nurse, ANM, Pharmacist, X-Ray Technician and ECG Technician. The Computer Based Recruitment Examination (CBRE) will be conducted on September 20, 2021 at different centres across the State.
As per the schedule, Paper-I (Composite Paper) will be held from 10 am to 11 am while Paper-II (Technical Paper) will be conducted from 11.30 am to 12.30 pm. Candidates will not be allowed to go out of the venue during the 30-minute bio-break between the two papers.
"Candidates concerned are advised to download their Admission letter by clicking on the link provided in the Home page under What's New section of the website " www.ossc.gov.in" from 15.09.2021 onwards using Application No. & Date of Birth to appear the examination in the respective venue," read a notification.

The Commission has directed PwD candidates who have opted for taking assistance of scribe in the online application to apply through e-mail orissassc@gmail.com by September 16 in the prescribed format and submit the required documents for taking necessary permission of the Commission.
"No other mode of correspondence in this regard will be entertained and requests received after the said date will not be considered by the Commission," the notification stated.
"COVID-19 appropriate behaviour, like use of sanitize, social distancing, wear of 3 layer mask must be adhered to during examination," it added.
It is noted that the OSSC had issued the advertisement for combined recruitment for 34 posts of Staff Nurse, 18 posts of Pharmacist, 1 post of X-Ray Technician, 1 post of ECG Technician and five posts of ANM under the Directorate of Employees State Insurance Scheme on contractual basis.
Online applications were invited for the posts through the official website of the Commission www.ossc.gov.in from August 8 to September 7, 2020.
