The Department of Post has been on a recruitment spree giving job aspirants ample opportunity to become a part of India Post. Recently, it had released notifications for direct recruitment in different circles inviting applications from interested and eligible candidates.
Now, the big opportunity to apply for the India Post vacancies in North East, Chhattisgarh and Odisha postal circles is going to end on December 3.
Odisha Postal Circle had sought applications for Direct Recruitment of meritorious sportspersons from open market under Sports Quota for the vacancies:
i) Postal Assistant (PA) in Post Offices
iii) Postman in Post Offices
iv) Multi-Tasking Staff (MTS) in Post offices /Railway Mail Offices
To apply for the positions, apart from the sports eligibility, candidates need to have passed 12th Standard or equivalent from a recognised Board or university.
However, for Multi-Tasking Staff, candidates must have passed 10th standard from a recognised Board, among others.
Similarly, applications were also invited from eligible candidates for Direct Recruitment of meritorious sportspersons for the post of Postal Assistant/Sorting Assistant, Postman and Multi-Tasking Staff for the vacancy year 2020 and 2021 in Chhattisgarh Postal Circle.
Age Limit (as on, last date of receipt of application, 03.12.2021):
Postal Assistant/ Sorting Assistant is 18-27 years
Postman/Mail Guard is 18-27 years
Multi Tasking Staff is 18-25 years
Sportspersons have also got an opportunity to apply for different posts in the North East Postal circle. The last date of application submission is December 3, 2021.
Pay Scale Details
Postal Assistant: Rs. 25,500 to Rs. 81,000 in Level 4 as per Pay Matrix specified in Part A of Schedule of Central Civil Service (Revised Pay) Rules, 2016 plus admissible allowances.
Postman: Rs. 21,700 to Rs. 69,100 in Level 3 as per Pay Matrix specified in Part A of Schedule of Central Civil Service (Revised Pay) Rules, 2016 plus admissible allowances.
Multi-Tasking Staff: Rs. 18,000 to Rs. 56,900 in Level 1 as per Pay Matrix specified in Part A of Schedule of Central Civil Service (Revised Pay) Rules, 2016 plus admissible allowances.
