Triptii Dimri

The gorgeous Triptii Dirmi turned 31 recently. Known for her fabulous roles in movies like Laila Majnu and Bulbbul, it was her role as Zoya in Animal that escalated her career to stardom. From Bhabhi 2 to “Heart Crush of India,” Triptii Dimri became a sensation overnight. But this young, bold, and talented actress has seen a lot of struggle before finally getting recognition.

Triptii Dimri’s father wanted to be an actor

Triptii Dimri’s father is an Air India employee. During his younger days, he aspired to be an actor. However, he could not fulfill his dream. Eventually, he lived his dream through his daughter after she decided to become an actor and started with modeling assignments initially.

A sociology graduate from Firozabad Triptii started off doing shoots for magazine covers and small gigs like working for print advertising campaigns and television commercials. She also performed some gigs for a YouTube channel Vipra Dialogues at the start of her career.

Triptii started with Mom, Poster Boys

The beautiful actress first featured in a very small role in Mom led by Sridevi. She was also a part of Poster Boys which starred Shreyas Talpade, Sunny Deol, and Bobby Deol in main roles. Eventually, she got movies like Bulbbul and Laila Majnu that showcased her talent and potential to be a mainstream actress. Eventually, Animal came her way and the rest is history.

Relatives were afraid no one would marry Triptii Dimri

Even though times have changed, in many middle-class Indian families working in movies is still not considered a good career. So when the Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 actress revealed her decision to step into the acting world many relatives said that no one would marry her because it is not a good field. After becoming a star actress during one of her interviews she revealed that people said mean things to her and her parents.

They said, “Things like 'Why have you sent your daughter to this profession?' She is going to get spoiled; she will hang out with the wrong people, she is going to make the wrong choices for herself, and no one is going to marry her. She is not getting married now.”

Lack of work discouraged Triptii at one point

Since she had no Godfather in the industry, Triptii Dimri had to start from scratch. There were times when she had no work and got confused about whether she was on the right track or not. But she was determined not to go to her parents and say that she could not do it. That kept her going and eventually ensured her success.

Triptii’s love-life

Earlier there were rumours that Triptii Dimri was dating Karnesh Sharma, the owner of Clean Slate Filmz and brother of Anushka Sharma. Karnesh was the producer of her movies- Bulbbul and Qala which helped her catch the limelight. Currently, she is rumoured to be dating businessman Sam Merchant and they are often spotted together.
