The trend of Bollywood and South film industries merging together is at an all-time high. With a number of superstars from the South venturing into Bollywood in the likes of Vijay Deverakonda and Naga Chaitanya, Natural Star Nani rumoured to be the latest to join the list.
Over the years many superstars who have a massive following in the regional audience tried their luck in Bollywood and failed, however, things are changing for good now. While the audience has been more accepting of regional actors and turning pan-India into blockbusters, many are getting ready to face the Hindi audience. Recently, Nani opened up on entering Bollywood and the reaction has made his fans hopeful.
Before you jump to conclusions, you must know that Nani is yet to sing any Bollywood movie but has given his nod to his entry into the industry. He is flooded with offers from Bollywood given his massive fanbase and powerful acting, but he hasn’t signed up anything yet, said sources.
Nani is known for his careful script selection which guarantees commercial and critical success. He reveals that he is waiting for the right script and the right genre with an appropriate director. Much to the advantage of the V star, unlike the other South stars, he knows Hindi well and is waiting for a good content and worthy script to enter the industry.
Meanwhile, Nani starrer Jersey which won him the National Awards this year is being remade in Hindi with Shahid Kapoor stepping into his shoes.
