Director Prashanth Neel is currently on cloud nine! After blockbuster KGF Chapter 1, Prashanth has made it to the A-listed directors in the South movie industry. Currently, the celebrated director is busy with his two anticipated movies- KGF Chapter 2 starring Yash, Sanjay Dutt, Raveena Tandon and Srinidhi Shetty among others and Salaar starring Prabhas and Shruti Hassan in the lead roles.
Eagerness among fans is skyrocketing with every update of the two movies helmed by Prashanth. Even fans have been speculating any resemblance of the two high-voltage action-packed opuses. As per the recent updates, both the movies have the same music director- Ravi Basrur.
Fans are well aware of the character of Srinidhi in KGF 1 as well as its sequel KGF 2. Srinidhi will be seen playing the lead lady role in KGF Chapter 2. To raise the excitement of all fans, the Salaar director has planned to add Srinidhi.
If rumours are to be believed, Prashanth recently approached KGF actress Srinidhi for a special song in Salaar to which she has given a nod. The song will be shot later this year. As per speculations, Srinidhi will be seen shaking a leg with rebel star Prabhas in an item number.
If the recent buzz is anything to go by, the excitement of fans will certainly go beyond limits after the makers make an official announcement about adding Srinidhi in Salaar.
Currently, Salaar shooting has been kept on hold and will expectedly resume from mid-June this year. Salaar- an underworld action-thriller starring Prabhas and Shruti Hassan in the lead roles is locked to release on April 14 next year.
Meanwhile, the period crime drama- KGF Chapter 2 starring Yash as Rocky Bhai and Sanjay Dutt as Adheera with Raveena and Srinidhi in major roles is set to release pan-India on July 16 this year.
However, considering the current situation of COVID-19 Second Wave, the makers might defer the release dates.
