Baahubali fame ace director SS Rajamouli's RRR- starring Ram Charan, Jr NTR, Alia Bhatt and Ajay Devgn- is one among the much hyped movies that was scheduled to release this year. However, owing to the COVID19 pandemic situation across the country, recently, it was heard that the makers have rescheduled the release date and are eyeing for Dushera this year.
Though the makers haven't yet made an official announcement about the same, the recent buzz in the industry is that another much-awaited movie- KGF Chapter 2 starring Yash, Sanjay Dutt, Raveena Tandon and Srinidhi Shetty is also planned for Dushera release.
Suspecting a huge box office clash and fearing split of viewers, RRR makers have postponed its release to next year, i.e. 2022.
As per the latest buzz, the helmer Rajamouli has planned to release the mega action-packed movie in 2022 summer.

Apart from that, it is also being heard that the two Tollywood action stars are in an ugly spat with their director over postponing the release date. Though the duo have agreed to avoid the clash with KGF 2, they have insisted to release the movie during Sankranti in January.
If rumours are anything to go by, the makers are yet to complete the shooting. Rajamouli hss left behind the shooting plans and few major scenes of the movie are yet to be shot. Following the imposed restrictions with the upsurge of COVID cases, the helmer has left out the scenes and has insisted to release the movie after completion of shooting.
If reports are to be believed, the makers will be releasing another poster from the movie on May 20 to celebrate the birthday of Young Tiger Jr NTR. And on the same day, the makers will be announcing the final release date.
However, all have to wait for an official announcement from the makers of RRR.
