The 2000 blockbuster movie debutant Hrithik Roshan has till date portrayed several characters in over 30 movies. Though Duggu’s movie career was like a merry-go-round, but due to several factors, he made his space in the cut-throat competition in Bollywood.
Now, he is one of the highest-paid actors in the Hindi movie industry.
Undeniably, Hrithik’s unique look is one of his plus factors for which fans fondly call him the ‘Indian Greek God’. Moreover, his well-chiseled body with perfect cuts and shape has earned him huge numbers of fans and followers from across the world.
But, more than all these attributes, Duggu was noticeable as an excellent dancer and this factor played a crucial role in making his debut movie a huge success. Thanks to his father Rakesh Roshan who launched him in the entertainment industry.
Throughout his career of 21 years, Hirthik, who is a fitness freak, has worked a lot on improving his skills in all aspects.
Rarely, there was anyone in the competition to challenge him in dancing moves. Though in recent years actors like Shahid Kapoor, Tiger Shroff, Varun Dhawan, and a few more to name have entered into the league, the Kabil actor remains undisputed as the ‘best dancer’ in the industry.
Actor Hrithik Roshan has a separate fan base for his dancing skills. But recently, he made it to the headlines when a video went viral on Twitter comparing his dancing skills with one of his family members. Fans even didn’t hesitate to say that he lost the title of ‘Best Dancer’ to this family member.
Yes, it is none other than Hrithik’s father Rakesh Roshan! Actor-Director-Producer Rakesh Roshan was not just seen shaking a leg with his son on the stage of an award function. Papa Roshan did dance on his son’s popular number- Ek Pal Ka Jeena from Kaho Naa… Pyaar Hai sung by Lucky Ali. Rakesh helmed the movie and directed his son for the first time. Along with the movie, all the songs scripted history.
Rakesh in tow with Hrithik is seen doing the signature step of the song which went on to become a popular step back in 2000.
All this grappling started on Twitter when a user said that Rakesh was one of the best dancers in India in the 1980s, during a discussion. Twitterati split over with their opinions and asked for evidence. It was then a user shared the video to prove the claims.
Following the post, a meme fest began on the social media platform. It was not just his dance move, his expressions while performing won the hearts of many. Certainly, this proves, dancing skills inherited by Hirthik, is something he got as a legacy from his father. And this also digs up the truth behind the popular Hindi proverb- “Baap Akhir Baap Hota Hai (A father is always superior)”.
Hrithik was last seen in the 2019 movie War with another dancing legend Tiger Shroff and Vaani Kapoor. His upcoming movies include Krrish 4 and Fighter with Deepika Padukone. However, there are no confirmed reports about the release and making of the movies as the industry is severely hit by the COVID19 pandemic.
Recently, Papa Roshan had also expressed his views on casting Hrithik and Ranbir Kapoor together in one film.
