Prabhas is a celebrated star in Tollywood with a list of several blockbusters. And with the glorious success of Baahubali, he went on to become a pan-India actor. But do you know, he never wanted to become an actor?

Yes, earlier during an interview, Prabhas revealed that he didn’t want to become an actor. Rather, it was his father Uppalapati Suryanarayana Raju , who wanted to see him as an actor. Holding his idea for a long time, out of the blue at the age of 19, he said to his father that he wanted to become an actor.

Prabhas being a shy person kept acting as his last option. However, his father, who was a producer and distributor, believed that his son would become a huge star. It was his father, who inspired him to give it multiple trials even though he hesitated to face the camera. Not just his father, Prabhas’ uncle Krishnam Raju, who passed away last year, was also adamant about him becoming an actor.

Well, the efforts and inspiration of Prabhas’ father and uncle gave a talented actor to the Indian cine industry.

Prabhas rose to fame with the Baahubali franchise and grabbed the eyeballs of movie lovers across the globe. Baahubali 2: The Conclusion also starring Anushka Shetty and Rana Daggubati still remains on the top of the list of Indian movies with the highest gross box office collection globally.

Now, fans of ‘Darling’ are quite excited about his upcoming flicks in a row including Adipurush , Salaar , and Project K. While Prabhas will be seen portraying the character of Raghav in the magnum opus mythological drama , Salaar is an action thriller film and Project K is an Indian epic science fiction film.
