Om Raut directorial and Prabhas starrer ‘Adipurush ’ triggered uproar soon after the makers dropped the official teaser. It was not just the substandard VFX. Movie lovers got disheartened and fumed over the presentation of the characters as well. It seems, now the makers have decided to make major modifications to give a complete visual experience to the viewers.

The official teaser of Adipurush released in a grand way. All cine buffs, especially fans of Baahubali fame Prabhas had high expectations from the movie and its director, who had wowed everyone with Tanhaji. However, all expectations were shattered and netizens brutally trolled the entire team for ‘cartoon-like VFX’. Even Saif Ali Khan ’s character portrayal of Lankesh didn’t go down well.

There were several other factors over which the movie lovers targeted the makers. Respecting the feedback of the viewers, the makers decided to carry out some major changes. Even the release date of Adipurush was postponed.

Earlier, Helmer Om Raut tweeted: “Adipurush is not a film, but a representation of our devotion to Prabhu Shri Ram and commitment towards our sanskriti and history. In order to give a complete visual experience to the viewers, we need to give more time to the teams working on the film. Adipurush will now release on June 16th, 2023. We are committed to making a film that India will be proud of. Your support, love, blessings is what keeps us going.”

As per the latest buzz, Adipurush’s release date has been once again deferred which was earlier postponed to June 16 from January 12, 2023. The buzz also suggests that the team is stuck in post-production works to ensure better output.

It is now apprehended that Adipurush may not release in 2023. Though there is no official confirmation, the internet is divided. While some claim that the release date has been deferred, some claim the date is locked for June 16. However, there are no reports about the new release date.

Despite being made at a whopping budget of Rs 500 crore and produced under T-Series banner, Adipurush, also starring Kriti Sanon and Sunny Singh, has been compared with an upcoming low-budget Telugu movie Hanu Man. Netizens have hailed the VFX works in Hanu Man, which comes with a lesser-known cast Teja Sajja, Amritha Aiyer, Varalaxmi Sarathkumar and Vinay Rai in main roles. Hanu Man is a superhero movie written and directed by Prasanth Varma and produced by Primeshow Entertainment.

As per the netizens, Hanu Man and its team deserve high appreciation as the VFX works are breathtaking and everything is magnificently executed even at a low budget. Contrary to this, netizens said, the makers of Adipurush failed to entice movie lovers and shattered everyone’s hopes with poor execution of VFX.
