Finally, the long wait comes to an end. Escalating the excitement of all movie lovers, the makers have finally dropped the official teaser of the much-awaited flick Adipurush, starring Prabhas, Kriti Sanon, Saif Ali Khan, Sonal Chauhan, and Sunny Singh.
As per the earlier announcement and scheduled place and timing, the Adipurush team finally launched the official teaser today (October 2) at a mega event held in Uttar Pradesh’s Ayodhya.
As seen in the teaser, Raghav is introduced while deep in meditation underwater. Next, with a voice-over in the background, “Now even if the earth breaks open or the sky falls upon us…” the teaser shows Raghav destroying demons with his arrows. The teaser continues with, “Nothing could stop the hands of justice from strangling evil.”
On the other hand, Saif as Lankesh is introduced while he is on the great mountains of the Himalayas. Further, the teaser shows Raghav's quest to Lanka with his army of 'vanars' and 'ritch' to lock horns with Lankesh.
High on VFX, the teaser promises a new horizon of Indian Cinema. Meanwhile, fans have already started celebrations on social media after showering praises for the entire team.
After teasing the first look of Prabhas as Raghav in the cinematic adaptation of the Hindu epic Ramayana on Sept 30, the makers finally launched the poster and teaser at the mega event.
The movie, helmed by Om Raut, will feature Lord Rama as a normal human without any supernatural powers. While Prabhas will appear with the screen name Raghav, Kriti will have Janaki and Saif will come up with Lankesh as his screen name.
Adipurush is scheduled for theatrical release next year on January 12.
The first look of Prabhas showed the Baahubali fame as Raghav kneeling on the ground with his bow and pointing his arrow to the sky. 'Celebrating victory of good over evil', the makers will probably share more updates related to the movie more often.
