Pathaan team avoids media interaction during pre-release promotions, confident about success!

Excitement among movie lovers is escalating for Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone, and John Abraham-starrer Pathaan as its release date is inching closer. However, it seems, Yash Raj Films and the entire team of Pathaan is quite confident of achieving overwhelming success as the team opted to avoid media interaction during the pre-release promotions on Tuesday.

Fans of SRK are quite excited to watch their matinee idol back on the big screen after a gap of 4 years. However, Pathaan as well as the lead actors are surrounded by controversies since the release of the movie’s trailer and the songs. Amid calls for boycott and ban , the makers conducted a pre-release event for the movie’s promotions. However, the entire team of Pathaan didn’t interact with the media persons.

As per reports, earlier, the makers of Drishyam 2 opted to avoid media interactions, and now, the makers of Pathaan took the same path. The team didn’t participate in any interviews with the media. It seems the makers have confidence in the movie's songs and trailers to speak for them.

Meanwhile, Pathaan is scheduled for theatrical release on January 25 and the makers of the film have decided to open the advance booking of tickets five days prior to its release. 

The advance booking for the film will start on January 20. The strategy is to take the hype around Pathaan to its most optimal point before its release. 

"YRF is very excited to release the 4th film of the YRF Spy Universe which marks the entry of superstars Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone, and John Abraham to one of India's biggest franchises,” said Rohan Malhotra, Vice President, Distribution, YRF.

He went on to add, "The advance booking for Pathaan will open on 20th Jan in India for the normal 2D version in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu along with premium formats like IMAX, 4DX, D BOX and ICE versions in Hindi."

Pathaan, a spy-thriller movie, is the 4th part of Aditya Chopra's spy universe.
