Kiara Advani and Disha Patani are the two Bollywood actresses who almost started their career together but Kiara is currently way ahead of Disha. Both these girls were a part of Sushant Singh Rajput-led biopic MS Dhoni-The Untold Story and they sort of started getting recognition after this flick was released in 2016.
While for Disha this movie launched her in Bollywood, Kiara had already started her B-town journey in 2014 with Fugly but it failed to take her career forward. But post-playing Sakshi Dhoni, it was her role in Netflix’s Ghost Stories that established her as a good actress. Be it her character in Telugu political thriller Bharat Ane Nenu released in 2018 or her roles in Kabir Singh and Good Newwz, the actress delivered the goods which made people take notice of her.
She also received good reviews for her last few ventures including Laxmii Bomb and Indoo Ki Jawani released on OTT. Nevertheless, for Disha Patani, after the big launch with SSR, she went on to feature in big-budget movies like Baaghi 2 released in 2018 opposite Tiger Shroff, Bharat (2019) with Salman Khan, and Mohit Suri’s Malang (2020) with Aditya Roy Kapur. Her big-budget movie with Salman Khan directed by Prabhudeva titled Radhe-Your Most Wanted Bhai released in 2021 on OTT.

But all these movies failed to give Disha the lead she has been expecting by being associated with big names like Salman, Tiger Shroff, and Mohit Suri. On the other hand, Kiara Advani seems to have emerged as one of the most sought-after leading ladies today, almost next to Alia Bhatt beating tough competition from star kids like Sara Ali Khan, Ananya Panday, and Janhvi Kapoor.
While Disha has a huge following on social media and keeps on attracting attention with her glamorous posts and reels, Kiara seems to have taken the right track and is attracting better movie projects. As of now, Kiara Advani has Shershaah opposite Sidharth Malhotra and Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 with Kartik Aaryan, Jug Jugg Jeeyo with Varun Dhawan, and Mr. Lele with Vicky Kaushal in the pipeline.
On the other hand, Disha will be next seen in Ek Villain 2 helmed by Mohit Suri.
