Indian Idol 12 is now coming closer to its final episode and speculations are already adrift about the probable contestants who will reach the top 3. A recent survey indicated that all the three girls – Shanmukha Priya, Sayli Kamble, and Arunita Kanjilal will reach the top 3, whereas the boys- Pawandeep Rajan, Nihal Tauro, and Mohammed Danish will be eliminated.
However, it seems to be most unlikely as Pawandeep is one of the most voted contestants on Indian Idol 12 whereas Mohammed Danish and Shanmukha are the ones who have been repeatedly trolled and criticized for their singing.
Even Nihal has not been consistent all through this season though lately, his singing has improved. He might be the dark horse of the competition like Abhijeet Sawant in Indian Idol 1 and there is a chance of him upsetting the most figured out speculations.

On the other hand, Arunita Kanjilal, who has been pretty consistent with her singing, has received rave reviews and appreciation for most of her performances and is most likely to reach the top 3. Everyone has showered praises on this Bong singer- from all the guest judges, including Kumar Sanu, Udit Narayan, and famous director Subhash Ghai and Hema Malini. So, along with Pawandeep Rajan, a hot favorite to win this season, Arunita is almost sure to reach the top 3.
So, with Danish and Shanmukha lacking strong support from the audience, there is a strong probability that the tussle for the top 3 will be between Nihal and Sayli Kamble. While initially, Sayli lacked perfection in singing, the last few episodes have shown that at times she even overpowers Arunita. A famous singer like Sukhwinder even appreciated Sayli calling her a Sherni. The Marathi singer from Mumbai has strong support from the audience and even though at times she has been in the bottom 3, Sayli has managed to survive and continue on the show.
The final decision will rest on the audience's voting, so the chances of Danish and SNP reaching the finals are very low. On the contrary, along with Arunita and Pawandeep, it will be Sayli or Nihal who will most probably reach the finals.
