The 'Greek God of Bollywood', Hrithik Roshan, is one of the most sought-after actors in the BTown who is loved by movie lovers for his chiselled body, dancing skills and, of course, acting proficiency. Meanwhile, Rishi's lad Ranbir Kapoor is also counted among the A-listed actors.

Both the actors have a separate fan base as well as share a common fandom. Though these days, the idea of a multi-star cast in a movie is uncommon, many are still eagerly waiting to see both the actors in a single movie.

As per the latest reports, the dream of such movie lovers, who are waiting to see Hrithik and Ranbir on the same screen space, will be fulfilled soon. Helmer of cult movies like Dangal and Chhichhore, Nitesh Tiwary is all set to direct a movie that is a new version of the cinematic adaptation of Indian epic Ramayana.

Bankrolled by Madhu Mantena, the new version of Ramayana will be made at a whopping budget of Rs 750 crore. The initial budget estimation for the three-film trilogy, though, is not final, reports have come to the fore that the makers have finalised the actors for Lord Ram and Demon King Lankesh Ravan.

As reported by rediff.com, Hrithik has been locked for portraying the character of Ravan while Ranbir will be seen as Lord Ram in the movie. Reports have also surfaced that both the actors will be paid Rs 75 crore as remuneration and the rest budget will go into the making of the movie.

However, the makers are yet to finalise the actor for Sita. Regarding Sita's character, there was a buzz in the industry that Kareena Kapoor Khan has been approached for the role. But, sources close to the makers rubbished the rumours saying Kareena won't fit into the character.

it is pertinent to mention that Kareena's husband Saif Ali Khan will be seen as Ravana in another movie adaptation of Ramayan, Adipurush, which also stars Tollywood star and Baahubali fame Prabhas as Lord Ram while Kriti Sanon will be seen as Sita.

During an interview with the Times Of India, Rakesh Roshan had spilt the beans on seeing Ranbir and Hrithik together in one film. “I wish to see Hrithik and Ranbir together in one film,” the senior Roshan had said.

Well, if the reports are anything to go by, fans will soon see Duggu and Daboo locking horns in the new version of Ramayan. Indeed, it would be a treat for the fans of both the handsome hunks.

Hrithik was last seen in the 2019 movie War with another dancing legend Tiger Shroff and Vaani Kapoor. His upcoming movies include Krrish 4 and Fighter with Deepika Padukone.
