Bollywood superstar Hrithik Roshan set a milestone with superhero franchise-Krrish portraying the character of mentally-challenged Rohit Mehera gifted with supernatural powers in Koi ... Mil Gaya. The best part of the movie was introducing iconic alien-Jadoo and his friendship with Rohit. The craze for the superhero franchise continued with Krrish and Krrish 3 in which Duggu was seen as the superhero-Krrish.

Anticipation among fans is skyrocketing since the day the makers announced about Krrish 4. However, the work progress of the movie was stalled as Rakesh Roshan's health condition deteriorated and the makers further decided to pause the project due the pandemic situation.

Meanwhile, Krrish that released in June 23, 2006 has completed 15 years. Duggu celebrated the moment sharing a video on his social media handles. He captioned the post: "The past is done . Let’s see what the future brings . Krrish4 #15yearsofkrrish #Krrish4"

Earlier in 2020, reports were doing rounds that the makers had decided to bring back Alien Jadoo. Even Hrithik had cryptically confirmed the same to an entertainment portal by saying "The world can do with some Jadoo now."

Following Hrithik's post, fans have started weaving around lots of theories as they believe that his posts have some hidden leads regarding his films.

According to a report published in Pinkvilla, a close source involved with the makers disclosed that Krrish 4's story is set against the backdrop of time travel theory.

“The makers are trying to build the universe in a way that the world of Koi Mil Gaya, and Krrish come together. While the idea of bringing Jadoo back is in place, the makers have zeroed in on the concept of time travel for this one," the entertainment portal quoted the source as saying.

"Krrish as a franchise has a strong sci-fi backdrop and there has been a gradual significance of time through all the films. Time travel will be key to the story of Krrish 4,” revealed the close source.

Reminiscing the story of Koi...Mil Gaya and Krrish, Rohit's father had developed a machine through which he hoped to contact extraterrestrial life and Rohit succeeded in that and communicated with Jadoo. Later on Rohit had developed a machine in Krrish through which he could peep into future and past by combining the theories of astrology, science and astronomy.

Indeed, such revelations from the source could be a clear indication that in Krrish 4 Hrithik may try to communicate with Jadoo after losing his father Rohit in Krrish 3.

Further, the source said, “Rakesh Ji and Hrithik, with their team of writers, have been working on the script for a couple of years and a lot of it is already locked. The duo has also been in conversations with visual effect experts from the West. Krrish is a dear franchise for the Roshan's and they are keen to deliver a full proof film, close to the reality yet larger than life.”

However, other details of the story and the concept of time travel will unwrap with time. The next instalment of the Superhero franchise is in preparation stage.

Comparing the tentative story plot of Krrish 4, it can be said that the makers are going in the way of Marvel's superhero movie- Avengers: Endgame in which the superheroes travel back into past to collect various infinity stones to revert back the destruction caused by Thanos.

On the work front, Hrithik's upcoming movies include Vikram Vedha, The Night Manager and Fighter apart from Krrish 4. Reportedly, Duggu is also in talks for Ramayana.

If the theories are something to go by, comeback of Jadoo and time travel concept in Krrish 4 will be a treat to watch and the movie will embark a history like Koi...Mil Gaya and Krrish.
