Gangs of Wasseypur fame Anurag Kashyap is once again in the headlines for his upcoming flick ‘Almost Pyaar With DJ Mohabbat.’ As the director claims, he has put all his savings into the film as no producer backed him like in old times.
While Anurag is a part of several successful projects, which mostly include violence, his forthcoming project is of a different genre as it comes from his ‘personal emotional space.’ Well, the audience will decide the fate of the movie after its release.
However, recently during an interview, Anurag revealed big about his equation with Bollywood Superstar Shah Rukh Khan and his obsession with actor-dancer Nora Fatehi.

Movie buffs are well aware of his equation with Salman Khan . The duo has never worked together on a project yet, but they were all set for the blockbuster Tere Naam. For the unversed, Anurag was ousted from Tere Naam after he asked Sallu to grow hair on his chest, to ensure a realistic UP guy approach. However, Sallu refused to do so and replaced him with Satish Kaushik.
Talking about SRK during an interaction with Unfiltered by Samdish, Anurag said that he had thoughts of working with SRK several times. “He has been my college senior and whenever he calls I stand up while I pick up the call. He is like a big brother to me.”
Further, he went on to add, “He has given up on me and he keeps telling me what not to do. He told me why I should not be on Twitter. Everybody cares about me, want me to see life the way they do.”
Talking about SRK’s recent blockbuster, Anurag said that he wanted Pathaan to be a hit and he is very happy with his comeback. He also went on to say, “I wonder how SRK manages to stay fit at 57.”
Later, expressing his obsession with Nora Fatehi and her dance, Anurag said that he used to watch dance videos of Hrithik Roshan during the whole lockdown. Even he watched Nora’s dance reels. “I watch a lot of reels. Once I was obsessed with Nora Fatehi’s dance reels. Now I watch food reels. I had a ‘Nora’ phase,” he said.
