In Anupamaa, Anu is at crossroads as those who were very close to her are now turning against her. While Vanraj is already with Kavya, now even Kinjal seems to be distancing herself from Anu. Nevertheless, the past experiences have made Anu stronger, but she definitely needs someone who will support her and listen to her issues.
Even earlier, the producer Rajan Shahi had hinted that a new male lead would be introduced in Anupamaa opposite Rupali Ganguly as the love interest of Anu. While several big names from the television world including Varun Badola, Ronit Roy, and more were rumoured to be approached, now finally, the producers have reportedly narrowed down on none other than Dr. Advait Khanna aka Apurva Agnihotri.
The actor appeared in a cameo in Anupamaa a couple of months ago as the doctor of Anu. When Dr. Advait bid goodbye to Anu typically by playing flute, fans believed that it was the end of Apurva’s role in the serial. However, now the character of Dr. Advait is all set to make a comeback with the storyline revealing that post parting from Anu, Advait realises that he is in love with her and hence, returns into her life.

While earlier Dr. Advait helped Anu emerge stronger during her fight with cancer, it will be exciting to see how his presence affects Anu’s equation with Vanraj and Kavya and whether she will also develop a soft corner for her savior. Another person who is all set to enter Anupamaa is Sunita Rai. While details about the role of the Bye Bye fame actress are not yet known, maybe she will have some connection with Dr. Advait.
With two new entries and especially a new love angle to look forward to, fans are indeed very much eager to watch how the story will unfold in the upcoming episodes.
