  • The latest buzz says that Deepika Padukone will star in Rajinikanth’s next movie.
  • The pair of Deeps and Rajinikanth is sure to add more dynamism to any movie project.
  • It will also be interesting to watch SRK and Nayanthara share the screen in Atlee’s next.

A new era of crossovers between South Indian and Bollywood movie stars seems to have started. While Katrina Kaif, Alia Bhatt are already a part of big South Indian movies and Deepika Padukone has also started shooting with Prabhas for Nag Ashwin’s upcoming flick, the latest buzz is that Deeps will now star opposite none other than superstar Rajinikanth.

While it is only a buzz at present but if it comes out to be true, it will be a big crossover as both Deepika Padukone and Rajinikanth are one of the biggest stars of the Indian film industry. The Thalaiva has already starred opposite beauty queen Aishwarya Rai Bachchan in Robot and the impact was refreshing and very strong.

And the same can be expected from Deeps and Rajini Sir when the two will come on the screen together. While the Padmaavat star made her debut in movies with a Southern flick, today she is essentially known for her work in Bollywood.

At the same time, Rajinikanth has also worked in many B-town movies but is famous more like a Southern superstar. Another crossover to look forward to is that of Shah Rukh Khan and Nayanthara. Shah Rukh Khan is returning to the movies after a gap of a couple of years and hence his fans are just very much eager to see him on the screen. While most probably his comeback movie will be YRF’s Pathan with Deepika and John Abraham, it will be followed by his next with Atlee starring Nayan as the female lead.

The lady superstar has a massive fan following in South India and is known for portraying strong characters. She is a wonderful package of boldness, subtlety, and intensity while the Badshah Khan is famous for his romance and stylish presentation of characters.

It will certainly make watching this unique pair on the screen quite interesting.
