  • Though a box-office failure, Dear Comrade has a soft corner in the hearts of young fans.

Rashmika Mandanna and Vijay Deverakonda are one of the hottest onscreen couples and their pair is loved and adored by South Indian movie fans. Dear Comrade was one such movie that showcased stunning chemistry between Vijay and Rashoo as Bobby and Lily.

While the movie could not create much impact at the box office, even then, for diehard fans of the famous onscreen couple the flick was a major milestone. To celebrate 2 years of its release, the netizens today shared wonderful video clips and messages emphasizing once again their adulation for Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna.

From sharing special posters to memes dedicated to a lead couple of the movie, fans are sharing their heartfelt feelings congratulating the team of Dear Comrade. Apart from the fact that the chemistry between Vijay and Rashmika is sizzling, there are certain factors that appealed to those who are young at heart and believe in love.

The movie was all about a youngster Bobby (Vijay) who was a union leader with anger issues and his fight. As the story goes, he falls in love with Lily (Rashmika) who is a cricketer playing at the state level, and when Lily is assaulted by a selector of BCCI from the South zone he decides to fight to give justice to Lily.

From dialogues to an overall presentation by a technician and of course the music by Justin Prabhakaran who debuted as music composer with Dear Comrade, everything put together took the flick to an entirely different level. Before Dear Comrade, both Vijay and Rashmika appeared as the lead couple in the movie for the first time in Geetha Govindam which was a big hit.

While Dear Comrade failed to reach the same level of box-office success, it still managed to create a soft spot in the young hearts of South Indian movie lovers. And that is why fans are celebrating 2 years of Dear Comrade on social media with so much enthusiasm.
