The All India Council For Technical Education (AICTE) has invited online applications on the National Scholarship portal from eligible students for the Swanath Scholarship Scheme.
The diploma and degree students who are orphan or whose both parents died due to Covid-19 or wards of Armed Forces and central paramilitary Forces martyred in action are eligible to apply.
As per the AICTE notification, the last date for submission of online applications is November 30, 2021. Students are advised to complete the applications well in time on National Scholarship Portal so that their institutions are able to complete the First Level Verification of applications within the prescribed timelines.

The last date for first level of verification of applications (Fresh) by institutions including re submitted defective applications and second level of verification (Fresh) by state Nodal officers is December 15, 2021 and December 31, respectively.
“The institutions are also advised to verify applications of their receiving applications on respective online portal,” the notification added.
Earlier, the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) had released an important notice regarding for disbursement of PG Scholarships to students for the academic year 2021-22.
The last date for creation of student IDs and submission of forms in the online portal by students is December 12, 2021. The last date for verification of applications by the concerned institutes is January 15, 2022.
