The Council of Higher Secondary Education (CHSE), Odisha is all set to hold the offline exam for Plus 2 students from today till October 11. The exams will be conducted in only one shift, from 10 am to 1 pm, while strictly following the Covid-19 norms.
Students, who are not satisfied with the marks awarded to them for the cancelled annual Plus 2 examination through an alternative assessment system, will appear for the offline examination.
Marks obtained by the students, who will appear for the offline exam, through the alternative assessment will become obsolete and the marks secured by them in the offline exam will be deemed final.

Over 13000 students will appear for the examinations that will be held in a total of 185 exam hubs of CHSE across the State. The highest 14 exam centres are in Ganjam district.
CHSE vice-chairman Tushar Kanti Tripathy said, "The exams will be conducted from October 1 to 11, including on Sundays, in one sitting. Superintendents of the exam centres have been clarified and instructed to conduct the exams while strictly adhering to Covid guidelines."
"At our centre, a total of 103 students from across 14 colleges will appear for the exam. We have already made all the arrangements and conduct the exam as per the guidelines of the government," said Chaturbhuj Pati, Principal of Dhenkanal Government Junior College.
Meanwhile, CHSE has reportedly set a target to announce the result of the offline Plus 2 exam within 15 days after the exams are over. Soon after the results are announced, the admission process will once again reportedly begin in late October.
