The Council of Higher Secondary Education (CHSE) in Odisha will soon conduct offline exams for Plus-2 students, the application process of which would be kicking off from September 3.

The decision was taken on Wednesday (September 1) at the examination committee meeting for the students who are dissatisfied with their results published using the alternative assessment method. CHSE informed that the students will be given 5 days time to submit online applications to sit for the offline exams.

The examination schedule and centres will be finalised later, based on the number of applications received, the Council has said. Similar to the directive issued during offline matriculation exams in Odisha, CHSE has made it clear that the marks obtained by the students in the offline exam would be final and the previous results will be deemed void.

As many as 89,951 students passed the annual Plus 2 exam in the Science stream, with 55,468 students securing first division; 16,943 in second division, while 14,631 were placed in third division. Of the 2,20,081 students who had appeared in the Plus 2 Arts stream, 1,96, 959 students including 1,86,685 regular students passed this year.

Similarly, in the Commerce stream, 23,292 students passed the Plus 2 examination. While 8,355 students secured first division, 5,692 got second division and 9,066 secured the third division.
