Amid the ongoing investigation into the death of Manish Anurag, son of senior journalist Navin Das, a fresh video has emerged in which the deceased is purportedly seen walking alone on a road at night.

It is believed to be the last visuals of Anurag before his body was recovered from a pond under mysterious circumstances on Sunday. However, the intriguing part of the video is that a woman is seen walking in front of Anurag at a few metre distance.

Police have now started an investigation to establish the identity of the woman seen in the video with the hope if she could provide any clue to solve the death mystery of Manish.

On the other hand, two suspects, stated to be involved in the case, surrendered before the Phulbani Police on Wednesday. The two suspects have been identified as Mrutyunjay Mishra and Dinesh Mohapatra, both from Phulbani.

Mahendra Murmu, the SDPO of Phulbani said, “The suspects are being questioned and a police team from Bhubaneswar will also be quizzing them.”

A police team from Bhubaneswar had on Tuesday picked up one suspect from Phulbani. Besides, the Commissionerate police had also detained one of the two persons who allegedly accompanied Manish in a car on the fateful Saturday night.

The body of Manish was recovered under mysterious circumstances from a pond at Patrapada on the outskirts of Bhubaneswar on Sunday afternoon. He had reportedly gone missing from a location under Infocity police limits on Saturday.
