The Commissionerate Police took custody of two surrendered suspects in the sensational Manish Anurag Death Case and brought them back to Bhubaneswar on Wednesday for questioning.

As per reports, a four member Police team from Bhubaneswar arrived in Phulbani on Wednesday evening to bring them back to Bhubaneswar.

The duo has been identified as Mrutyunjay Mishra and Dinesh Mohapatra, both from Peonpada and Amalapada respectively in Phulbani.

The Commissionerate police on Tuesday had detained one of the two persons who allegedly accompanied Manish in a car on that fateful night when he died. The police have also seized the car in which the trio travelled.

Notably, the body of Manish, the son of senior journalist Navin Das was recovered under mysterious circumstances from a pond at Patrapada on the outskirts of Bhubaneswar on Sunday afternoon. He had reportedly gone missing from a location under Infocity police limits on Saturday.

It was also alleged that Manish had been abducted by two persons in a car from Infocity area on Saturday night. The abductors had also reportedly made a ransom call to the family members.

Meanwhile, a fresh video has emerged in which the deceased is purportedly seen walking alone on a road at night.

It is believed to be the last visuals of Anurag before his body was recovered from a pond on Sunday. However, the intriguing part of the video is that a woman is seen walking in front of Anurag at a few metres distance.
