Bhubaneswar: Now people don’t have to run to the testing centers and laboratories and stand in long queues to get their Covid-19 test reports as Odisha government has launched a website to get the test reports online.
After undergoing RT PCR or Rapid Antigen tests, people could get the result by visiting the website https://covid19.odisha.gov.in. The test report could also be obtained by logging in statedashboard.odisha.gov.in, which generally provides information about the Covid-19 situation in the State.
“The Health and Family Welfare Department and the Electronic & IT Department of the State government have jointly launched the initiative so that people will not have to visit the testing centers frequently to get their test reports,” said IT department secretary Manoj Mishra.
“Generally people get excited after undergoing a Covid-19 test. They visit the testing centers and laboratories frequently to get the test reports. In the process, they caught themselves in the crowd which increases their chances of getting infected. The new website has been launched to help people get their reports conveniently at home,” said Mishra.
He further said the process of getting the report through the website is also very simple:
1. Login to the website
2. Click on ‘Know your test report’ section
3. Submit your phone number
4. Then an OTP will be generated which will be sent to the mobile number
5. After submitting the OTP, the report could be obtained
“The website will be available both in Odia and English languages,” Mishra added.
