Prime Minister Narendra Modi, during his address in Odisha, strongly criticized the Congress and BJD-led governance of the past, accusing them of fostering corruption and underdevelopment. He asserted that the "Congress model" had, for decades after Independence, halted development across the country, with corruption as its key feature.
In a landmark move to transform grassroots education in Odisha, the Mohan Majhi-led BJP government, in the presence of PM Narendra Modi, launched the ambitious Godabarish Mishra Adarsha Prathamika Vidyalaya scheme.
