A key highlight of the visit is the launch of a new railway service that connects Odisha’s Boudh district to the rail network for the first time—an important milestone in enhancing regional accessibility and economic development. In a move to promote sustainable urban mobility, the Prime Minister will also inaugurate 100 electric buses under the Capital Region Urban Transport (CRUT) initiative.

The visit underscores the Centre’s commitment to Odisha’s development across transport, infrastructure, and urban planning. With these initiatives, the BJP aims to solidify its developmental image while ensuring the fruits of governance reach previously underserved regions. The event not only celebrates a political milestone but also signals a new phase of growth and connectivity for the state.
