Directed by Uppena fame Buchi Babu Sana, this upcoming sports drama has already become one of the most talked-about projects in Indian cinema. With every new update, fans are getting a closer glimpse into the grand world that Peddi promises to unveil. And now, the makers have added to the anticipation by introducing Janhvi Kapoor’s fiery first look from the film - a reveal that’s setting the internet abuzz.

On Saturday, the makers unveiled two striking posters of Janhvi Kapoor, introducing her as Achiyyamma. The official handle of Peddi captioned the post, “Our #Peddi's love with a firebrand attitude. Presenting the gorgeous #JanhviKapoor as #Achiyyamma. #PEDDI GLOBAL RELEASE ON 27th MARCH, 2026.” (sic)

The first poster captures Janhvi standing atop a jeep equipped with loudspeakers, waving to a crowd at what appears to be a lively village fair. In the second, she’s seen performing passionately near a microphone - a frame that radiates raw energy and charm.

Ram Charan himself amplified the reveal by sharing the posters on his social media, instantly sparking fan discussions and theories about Achiyyamma’s character.

Fans React: Is Achiyyamma a Rural Singer?

Within minutes of the posters going live, fans began speculating about Janhvi’s role. Many believe she portrays a singer rooted in rural traditions. One comment read, “Heroine - lead singer in Singing Troop (part of Village festival events).” (sic)

Another wrote, “I think she is playing singer character in Rural areas.” (sic)

While some amused fans poked fun at the old-school name, saying, “Ma pakkaintlo bammagari peru kuda adhe (The grandma who lives next to me is also named that).” (sic)

Others playfully imagined a cinematic romance, quipping, “Peddi weds Achiyyamma.” (sic)

Several fans also pointed out that Janhvi’s look bore a passing resemblance to her appearance in Devara, adding to the intrigue.
