Ram Charan's look in Peddi 'similar' to Allu Arjun's Pushpa or Yash's KGF appearance? Netizens draw comparison

Telugu Film Industry's (TFI) Mega Power Star Ram Charan turned 40 today on Thursday (March 27). To make the day more special for his fans, the makers of RC16 dropped Ram Charan's first look and unveiled the movie's title. In the poster, Ram sports an intense, earthy, and fiercely raw avatar. With piercing eyes, messy hair, a long beard, and a nose ring, the actor wears a striped red and smokes a cigar. While the first look of the actor has driven fans crazy, a section of users have drawn parallels with Allu Arjun's Pushpa and Yash's KGF looks.

Ram Charan's First Look From Peddi Released

Taking to social media,  director Buchi Babu Sana shared posters of the movie, which was earlier tentatively titled RC16. Sharing two posters, the filmmaker wrote, Happy Birthday my Dear @AlwaysRamCharan Sir..In one word you are Gold Sir. Tqq for everything Sir.” (sic)

While one poster sees Ram looking intensely into the camera as he lights up a cigar, in the second poster he is seen dressed in a torn shirt and holding a cricket bat.

Allu Arjun's Pushpa or Yash's Rocky?

Soon after the posters surfaced on social media, fans showered love on the birthday boy's rustic avatar. However, a section of users drew comparisons with Tollywood's Icon Star Allu Arjun's look in Pushpa: The Rise and Kannada Film Industry's Rocking Star Yash's look in KGF: Chapter 1.

Sharing both the posters of Ram Charan and a poster of Allu Arjun and Yash each, a user wrote, Naku okkadikena meku kuda #Pushpa and #kgfchapter1 first look gurthochinda #Peddi (Is it just me or does this remind you too of Pushpa and KGF Chapter 1’s first looks?)” (sic)
