The much-anticipated collaboration between actors Ram Charan and Janhvi Kapoor has been officially titled "PEDDI." Directed by Buchi Babu Sana, renowned for his National Award-winning film "Uppena," the upcoming movie promises a compelling narrative set against a rustic backdrop.
In celebration of Ram Charan's 40th birthday today, the filmmakers unveiled the first look posters, which have rapidly gained traction among fans and the film fraternity.
The first poster showcases Ram Charan in a rugged avatar with an unkempt beard, long hair, a nose ring, and a cigar, exuding raw intensity. The second poster depicts him holding an old cricket bat in a rustic village stadium illuminated by floodlights, hinting at a sports-centric narrative.
Director Sana captioned the post: "Happy Birthday my Dear @AlwaysRamCharan Sir...In one word you are Gold Sir." Actress Janhvi Kapoor also shared the posters, amplifying the excitement surrounding the film.

PEDDI boasts an ensemble cast, including Kannada superstar Shiva Rajkumar in a pivotal role. The film's music is composed by Academy Award-winning composer A.R. Rahman, with cinematography by R. Rathnavelu ISC and production design by Avinash Kolla.
The film is produced by Venkata Satish Kilaru under the banner of Vriddhi Cinemas, marking the production house's ambitious debut. Mythri Movie Makers is presenting the film.
