Deepika To Be The Highest Paid Actress For Telugu Film?
Currently, the Baahubali actor is more concerned about completing his upcoming flick Radhe Shyam opposite Pooja Hegde After that, Prabhas will work for Nag Ashwin’s big-budget movie bankrolled by Vyjayanthi Movies. Ever since the project was announced in February this year there have been speculations about the leading lady. From the start, Nag Ashwin has been sure that he wanted a leading lady from Bollywood and accordingly did approach Katrina and Deepika. Even the name of Kiara Advani has been in the reckoning.
Now, finally, it seems Deepika is ready to take up this South Indian movie project and if her terms are accepted by the team she will be the highest-paid actress for a Telugu film. Since Deepika has always been insistent upon getting almost equal footage as the leading hero it is expected that she will share equal space on screen with Prabhas. According to reports, Nag Ashwin is just too eager to rope in a big Bollywood actress like Deepika in his next flick and hence is ready to pay her the demanded whopping amount because it is going to be a pan India movie and the director wants a star with a nation-wide appeal.
But it needs to be seen whether the production house agrees to this demand of the Piku actress. The last movie of Nag Ashwin Mahanati was a biopic on the life of Savitri, a legendary actor, and was a massive hit. That is why the production house has big hopes on Prabhas21 but with the COVID-19 making the entire situation unpredictable, they may think twice before giving in to the demand of Bollywood’s Mastani.
