Best Supporting Actress: Surekha Sikri for Badhaai Ho

Best Supporting Actor: Swanand Kirkire for Chumbak

Indira Gandhi Award for Best Debut Film of a Director: Sudhakar Reddy Yakanthi for Naal

Best Popular Film Providing Wholesome Entertainment: Badhaai Ho

Nargis Dutt award Best Feature Film on National Integration: Ondalla Eradalla

Marathi film Paani wins Best Film on Environment Conservation. It is produced by Priyanka Chopra's production house Purple Pebble Pictures.

Pad Man, starring Akshay Kumar, Sonam Kapoor and Radhika Apte, has won the Best Film On Social Issues. The film was based on the concept of menstrual hygiene.

This year, the announcement of the National Film Awards got delayed due to the Lok Sabha Election 2019, the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting had said in a press release dated April 24.
