The Enforcement Directorate on Thursday launched a probe to trace the missing car of lady blackmailer Archana Nag as part of a probe into the multi-million sextortion case.

The ‘Ford Endeavour’ that belonged to Archana, who has been arrested for allegedly amassing wealth by blackmailing prominent people in Odisha, has been missing since her arrest.

There were several pictures of Archana posing and showing off the four-wheeler on social media.

However, the car has been missing since her arrest. Seeking details, the ED sought the help of National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) and sent a letter in this regard.

Apart from the missing car, Archana also lived a grand life in a three-storey bungalow in Satya Vihar with extensive interiors that she along with her husband Jagabandhu had built in just four years.

She also owned several other expensive vehicles, four dogs and a horse.

On the other hand, a lookout notice has been issued for Archana’s female aide, who was part of blackmailing Odia film producer Akshay Parija. Earlier, a team of ED officials had visited the woman’s house to trace her whereabouts, but she is still missing.

Meanwhile, the ED has arrested Archana Nag’s husband Jagabandhu’s aide Khageswar Patra who was also involved in the sextortion with the couple.

Odisha Police arrested Archana Nag on October 6, 2022 and Jagabandhu Chand on October 20, 2022. At present, both are in judicial custody after court rejected their bail pleas.
