The accused woman was arrested by Khandagiri Police in the Capital City and two pendrives were seized from her possession.

As per sources, she used to target high-profile people like politicians, ministers and film producers and bring serious allegations against them and extort money.

She had been under police scanner since 2021. At least three cases were registered against her while two cases were registered against her this year.

She was detained at Khandagiri police station last night and interrogated. During interrogation, two pendrives and two mobile phones were recovered from her, said sources.

The two mobile phones reportedly have pictures of her and many other politicians and film producers.

Recently, she had brought allegations against a film producer and lodged a complaint at Laxmisagar police station. She alleged that the producer blackmailed her with obscene photographs.

The film producer had lodged a counter-complaint at Nayapalli police station alleging that the woman had been blackmailing him by making his photographs viral. He alleged that the woman had demanded Rs 3 crore from him.
