(Dr.) Sharmila Subramanian, Principal Astha School of Management, Bhubaneswar is a passionate teacher having 21 years teaching and research experience. She is doctorate in Communication with a strong footing in corporate training and consultancy that includes organisations like IDBI Bank, Canara Bank, Department of Agriculture, NALCO, OMC, Oriental Insurance, Birla Sun Life, OTDC, Jindal Steel and Power Ltd., Reliance Telecom, UNDP, Coca Cola, PWC and the like. She did her post-graduate in English from Utkal University, Journalism from IGNOU and in PGD HRD from NIHRD. She also completed her B.Ed from prestigious Regional College of Education, Bhubaneswar. Prof. Subramanian is the recipient of prestigious awards like Dewang Mehta National Education Award-2017 for Education Leadership; Indy’s National Award, 2012 for Best B-School teacher.
