On one end, many companies are planning to return to the offices, while on the other many are tweaking their work from home policies to meet the employee demand for flexibility. Global tech giant Apple is all set to end work from home option for its employees worldwide, next year.

According to a recent email from Apple CEO Tim Cook to employees, the iPhone maker wants its employees to return to offices on February 1, 2022. As per reports by a national media, the company will embrace a ‘hybrid work pilot with multiple phases and different rules depending on the nature of work.’

On the other hand, in good news for Indian techies aspiring to join Apple, the company said that it will expanding its footprint in the country. Speaking at the Bengaluru Tech Summit, Apple’s Vice-President of Product Operations, Priya Balasubramaniam, said that the company supports around 1 million jobs in India including its own employees.

The company has set up with first manufacturing unit in Bengaluru and later expanded to Chennai. Apple said that it is investing heavily in India and wants to expand its footprint with increased manufacturing operations, which will create more jobs.
